กลุ่มวิจัยวัสดุศาสตร์มุ่งเน้นด้านการพัฒนา วิเคราะห์ ทดสอบสมบัติ รวมทั้งกระบวนการขึ้นรูปของวัสดุประเภทต่าง ๆ ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงการให้บริการทางเทคนิคและการให้คำปรึกษา โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมพลาสติก   ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาความรู้ สร้างเทคโนโลยี และสร้างนวัตกรรมต้นแบบเชิงพาณิชย์ เพื่อประโยชน์ต่อเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในภาพรวม

        This research group focuses on the development, testing of properties including the molding process for various materials related to environmentally friendly products. Including technical and consulting services, especially the plastics industry. There is development of knowledge, technology and commercial prototyping for the benefit of the country's economy as a whole.
